After initial contact, we will interact with you to get an overview of your requirements for the project. Using our experience, we can make some suggestions and then gather together this information ready for the next stage.
We build you a sitemap from the information we have. This is a planning document listing the content in an organised fashion.
We decide on the type of site you require and the work involved. For example, do you want to edit the site content yourself (CMS)? Do you need an online store (eCommerce), a blog or a forum?
We can then supply you with a formal quotation documenting what we will supply and an estimated completion date.
To produce a design that matches your expectations, we supply you with wireframe layouts, organise site structure and source any prominent imagery.
These are reviewed and revised until approval is gained.
Next, we put the planning and design into action. We will code the back-end of the site, creating templates and building blocks in which to add the content that the viewer will see.
All content is added, and the site is tested for functionality across all web browsers and in different devices (screens, tablets, mobiles).
We also check for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. We check that all the links are working and that the code validates as standards compliant.
The site goes live in a production environment.
Only when both parties are in agreement, we close the project and sign off.
